To view your cropped image, choose View -> Preview Web Image (Shift-Command-I). This window displays the cropped and scaled image.
You can also see the cropped image in the Thumbnail view window (View -> Thumbnails (Shift-Command-T)).
Note: If you want to save your cropped image as a file or use it in another application that accepts drag and drop images, use the Image Well.
