Web Options: File - HTML Encoding & File Extension |
|
|
HTML Encoding
To optimize the encoding of your HTML files to fit your native language, choose an encoding on the File tab of the Web Options sheet. We strongly recommend that you choose Standard unless you fully understand the ramifications of non-standard encodings! | |

File Extensions
To set the file extension that PhotoToWeb will add to each filename when it generates the HTML files, select an extension from the File Extension popup menu. Normally, you would use html or htm. But if you’ve embedded some HTML that uses server-side includes, you can use shtml, and if you’ve embedded some PHP code, you may need to use php to force the web server to run the files through the PHP parser before serving them. |
