| Effects: Stroke - Line Cap |

To control the appearance of the stroke end, use the Line Cap controls. This applies to Stroke effects on Straight Line, Freehand, Spline, Multi Line, and Star graphics. |

You can also use the contextual menu to control the Line Cap on selected graphics. |

Butt: The line is squared off at its end point; there is no projection beyond the end of the path.
Round: A filled semicircular arc is drawn around the end point.
Projecting square: The line is squared off beyond the end point at a distance equal to half the line width. |
