Mask by Component |
![](images/spacer.gif) |
|
The Mask by Component effect allows adding alpha transparency to a certain color of the graphic using the RBG color components.
Inputs
• Red/Green/Blue Threshold: A number that specifies the amount of color encompassed in the transparency (in three dimensional terms). The default is 0.25. The range is 0 (less color involved) to 1.00 (more color involved).
• Erase Red/Green/Blue: Use this threshold in the transparency.
HINT: you can extract objects from the background easily by first applying either Mask by Color or Mask by Component, and then adding a paint layer to “erase” any left over bits. See Painting for more info! |
