LinkBack usage
Remember Open Doc? Publish-Subscribe? LinkBack actually works!
LinkBack is an open source framework for Mac OS X that helps developers integrate content from other applications into their own. A user can paste content from any LinkBack-enabled application into another and reopen that content later for editing with just a double-click. Changes will automatically appear in the original document again when you save.
iMaginator is a LinkBack server. This means you can copy your iMaginator image and paste it into any LinkBack-enabled application. When you double-click on the image in the other application, it will open in iMaginator. You can modify it in iMaginator, save it, and the changes will be reflected in the other application.
This already works in Stone Design's Create. For a list of other applications that have announced that they will incorporate LinkBack into future versions, see www.linkbackproject.org—applications.
