Intro
In this tutorial you will learn how to use the spline, multi, blend and new drop shadow tool to produce the piece ‘Waves’ by Robert Curtis.
Background
‘Waves’ is based on the work of an early digital art pioneer, Michael Noll.
Noll produced his first digital art while at Bell Labs, New Jersey - a real hive of innovation at this time, much as Xerox Parc was in the 1970s.
‘Ninety Parallel Sinusoids With Linearly Increasing Period’ is one of the many pieces he produced there, and is the main source of inspiration for the piece ‘Waves’ (which incidentally, is less of a mouthful!).
Tutorial
This tutorial will guide you through the steps necessary to create the piece ‘Waves’, and will hopefully show you the potential Create has for producing original artwork. |
