• Key: The key is an alphanumeric value which encodes information about the number of licenses, a User Name or unique serial number, the computer (if the license is locked to a particular machine) and the expiration date (if the license isn't permanent).
• User Name: When you buy licenses for Stone Studio applications on line, your license Key encodes your User Name, which is provided with your Key. To license your application, enter your User Name exactly as it appears with your Key.
• Floating: A floating license is useable by any computer on your network, assuming that it's installed in a location that's accessible by any computer on the network. (See Permanent Licenses for more information on accessible locations.) All Stone Studio permanent licenses are floating.
• Locked: A locked license is useable only on the computer for which it was issued. All Stone Design free trial licenses are locked.
