Starshine Generator |
|
|
The Starshine Generator effect generates a starburst pattern.
Inputs
• Center: The location of the starburst
• Color: The color of the diffuse lighting around the center portion of the starburst.
• Radius: A number that specifies the radius of the starburst. The default value is 50. The range is 0 through 300.
• Cross Scale: A number that specifies the scale of the cross spikes radiating from the starburst. The default value is 15. The range is 0 to 100.
• Cross Angle: A number that specifies the angle of rotation, in degrees, of the starburst. The default value is 0.6 radians. The range is 0 through 2 pi.
• Cross Opacity: A number that specifies the opacity of the cross spikes radiating from the starburst. The default value is –2. The range is –8 through 0.
• Cross Width: A number that specifies the width of the cross spikes radiating from the starburst. The default value is 2.5. The range is 0 through 10. |
|
• Epsilon: A number. The default value is –2. The range is –8 through 0. This value is the log base 10 of the small value added by Core Image to avoid a divide-by-zero error in the calculation of the starshine. The epsilon value affects the pointed shape of the star. |
