Rotate Right (Option-Cmd-R)
Rotates the image 90 degrees to the right.
Rotate Left (Option-Cmd-L)
Rotates the image 90 degrees to the left.
Zoom Image
Magnifies or shrinks the image in the image view area. You can select a specific amount or zoom in or out.
Zoom Out (Cmd-%)
Zoom In (Cmd-^)
Custom Canvas Size (Cmd-K)
The Canvas is the area inside the Image View area where the image is actually drawn. By default, the canvas size is set to be the size of the image. Some effects change the canvas size so that the full effect is displayed. Some effects will change the image size, but will not change the canvas size, so the whole image is not visible. You can either manually change the canvas size by setting it with Custom Canvas Size, or you can force a canvas size change by adding a Transform effect to the effect chain. Note: changing the canvas size does not scale the picture; it changes part of the image that is displayed in the image view area. It does not change the actual image itself; when you save the image or drag the image from the Drag Well, you get the full image, not just the part displayed in the canvas area. |
