Save (Cmd-S)
Save the current document. If it hasn't been saved before, you'll get a Save File window. You can set a location for the file. You can also set a file format. You can save the whole iMaginator document, the image as a TIFF or JPG, or just the effects and filters used in the document.
Save As… (Shift-Cmd-S)
Save the current document under another name. You'll get a Save File window, where you set the name and location for the document. You can also set the format: iMaginator file package, just the effects and filters, just the image as a TIFF or JPG.
When saving to an image format, iMaginator saves the image as it appears with Effects applied. It does not save just the cropped image (unless you've appled a Crop Effect). If you want an image that is cropped, use the Image Drag Well.
Save Effects…
Save the Effects chain of the current document.
Note: An effects file (.iFilter) does not contain any images. If your effects have image inputs, the effects file contains the full paths to those images. |
