Draw All Points / Only Selected Effect
With Draw All Points selected, every possible point of every effect can moved in the image view. However, with many effects applied, it can be difficult to get the point you want! Use Only Selected Effect to show just the selected effect’s control points. This is useful to reduce visual noise as well - hint: there is a tool bar version of this preference!
Background
Some effects add transparency (alpha) to images. When you export to an image format that allows alpha (TIFF and PNG), the transparency is maintained. But when you export to JPG, the transparent areas are (by default) filled with white. You can control the fill color by setting the background color. Select Use and then select a color by clicking on the clor well. When you change the background color, you affect the current document and new documents. The background color is saved with the document, so previously-saved documents' background settings will not be changed.
QuickTime movies also use the background color setting.
Aqua windows instead of Metal
Choose whether you want the iMaginator window to appear with a brushed metal or aqua style. Some designers feel that the aqua style interferes the least, others like the metal because it’s easy to see where the image is transparent. We leave this choice up to you! |
