To set the background color for the table, use the Background Color color well in the Object Info pane.
To set a different color for the even-numbered rows in the table, check the Alternate Colors checkbox and use the Alternate Colors color well.
To add lines between the cells in your table, use the table Grid controls in the Object pane of the Info window. To set the color of the lines, use the table Grid color well.
To control the border around your table, use the Border Style buttons in the Object pane of the Info window. You can have no border, a black border or a gray border.
HTML Note: Create’s HTML for tables is not totally WYSIWYG.
• The Grid line controls override the Border controls: If you have checked either or both of the Grid line checkboxes, the HTML table will have a border and both horizontal and vertical grid lines. The border and grid line color will be taken from the table Grid color well.
• The text color for the Header text is taken from the text color set for the column.
