| Creating a new document |

To create a new document, choose File->New (Command-N).
This will create an 8.5 x 11 inch single page document.
• You can also create a new document with a page size appropriate for the web by choosing Web->New Web Size. The default size is 8.5 x 6.5 inches.
• You can change the web template by setting a new template document in Preferences->Document. |

• To change from a vertical to a horizontal layout, choose File->Page Setup… (Shift-Command-P). Here, you can choose paper sizes and select a page orientation. |
