Announcing the Stone Design Forum...
Albuquerque, the Ides of March, 2004 - A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum! Stone Design - the oldest native OS X software house - today announced a new free service for users and wannabe users of Stone software:
The Stone Design Forum is a place for unmoderated discussion of all things pertaining to Stone Design software, broken down by software package, with three basic threads for each:
- a place to ask questions
- a place for suggestions and comments
- a place for tips and tricks on getting the most out of the applications
According to CEO Andrew Stone, “After 15 years of providing support on an individual basis, we realized that our users would greatly benefit by being able to see and share the information we send to our customers. Often times someone will ask, ‘Hey, can you do this or that?’, and we’ll realize, ‘Wow, you can do that! And here is how...’ Now our users will be able to benefit from these exchanges!”
VP of Research and Development, Kris Jensen commented, “The Create mailing list has been very valuable to our clients, but due to the massive amount of spam attacks, we had to make the list moderated, which is less than optimal for a free and open place to share information. We believe that the Stone Design Forum will greatly assist our global customer base as well as our engineering team - go check it out!”
The Stone Design forum supports uploads of files as well as email notifications of new postings. For a complete listing of all online resources for Stone Design software, visit:
