Stone Web Colors Lists©, by Stone Design, are two lists of colors: a list of 'Browser Safe' colors that display beautifully without dithering on low resolution color monitors (256 colors) and a list of named colors whose names can be used in place of the rather cryptic hexadecimal names for colors, such as "#ffdead".
When installed into ~/Library/Colors or /Local/Library/Colors, the lists are available in the standard Mac OS X Server Color Panel:
